  • Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

    By requesting a quotation or making a booking with SP Holidays, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

  • Definitions

    Trip (or Travel): Visiting New Zealand on a leisure or group tour booked with SP Holidays.

    SP Holidays: A New Zealand-based inbound tour operator providing travel products and services to international clients.

    Client (or Traveller): A The person(s) purchasing and participating in the trip.

    Departure Date: The date the Client departs their home country to begin the trip in New Zealand.

    Agent: A third party booking travel services with SP Holidays on behalf of the Client.

    Supplier: Third-party service providers engaged by SP Holidays, including but not limited to hotels, attractions, transport providers, and restaurants.

    Services: The travel-related services provided to the Client in New Zealand.

    Quote: A pricing proposal prepared by SP Holidaysd for the Agent or Client.

    Booking: Confirmation of services as per the Quote.

    Itinerary: A detailed travel plan provided to the Client outlining confirmed services.

    FIT (Free Independent Traveller): A booking for 1–9 individuals.

    Group: A booking for 10 or more travellers.

    Tour Series: A pre-scheduled group departure with fixed dates and itineraries.

  • Quote and Booking Process

    All booking requests must be submitted in writing with the full names of all travellers and arrival date into New Zealand. Bookings are not confirmed until a written confirmation is issued by SP Holidays.

    International and domestic flights are not included unless explicitly mentioned.

    SP Holidays reserves the right to issue a stop-sale notice for any tour series departure.

  • Price

    All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), including GST, and are non- commissionable unless stated otherwise.

    Prices are fixed once the Booking is confirmed, unless adjustments are needed due to amendments.

    Prices exclude:

    • International and domestic flights
    • Visa and passport fees
    • Travel insurance
    • Vaccinations
    • Personal expenses, tipping, and hotel incidentals
    • Credit card surcharges
  • Payment Terms & Process

    Payment Conditions

    • For bookings confirmed more than 45 days prior to departure, a non-refundable deposit of NZ$250 per person is due within 5 working days to secure the booking.
    • The full balance is due 45 days before departure. Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in cancellation.
    • For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required within 5 working days of confirmation.
    • Custom payment terms may apply based on specific agreements between SP Holidays and the Agent/Client.
  • Booking Amendments

    Supplier-Initiated Changes

    • In unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, Suppliers may alter or cancel services. Suitable alternatives will be offered if possible.
    • Price differences or refunds are subject to Supplier discretion.

    Client-Initiated Changes

    • All change requests must be submitted in writing. A revised invoice or credit note will be issued for pricing changes.
  • Cancellation Policy

    By SP Holidays or Suppliers Cancellations may occur due to non-payment, force majeure, or Supplier unavailability. In such cases, SP Holidays will make reasonable efforts to offer suitable alternatives, subject to availability.

    By the Client

    • More than 45 days prior to departure: Full refund (excluding any domestic flight tickets, which are subject to airline terms and conditions).
    • 45 to 31 days prior to departure: 25% cancellation fee per person.
    • 30 days or less prior to departure: 100% cancellation fee applies.

    Supplier cancellation fees (if applicable) are additional and will be passed on. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

    All cancellation requests must be emailed to reservations@ppholidays.co.nz during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm NZT).

    Cancellations received outside business hours or on New Zealand public holidays will be deemed as received on the next working day.

  • Refunds and Claims

    No refund will be provided if the Client fails to carry the correct travel documentation.

    SP Holidays is not responsible for missed services due to transport delays.

    No refund for unused services or early departure by the Client.

    All complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of trip completion.

  • Travel Insurance & Documents

    Travel insurance is not included. It is strongly recommended for all travellers.

    Clients must ensure they have valid passports (6+ months post-return) and appropriate visas. SP Holidays is not responsible for denied entry due to incorrect documents.

  • Supplier Terms

    SP Holidays is not liable for the Client’s failure to comply with Supplier terms.

    Parents/guardians are responsible for their children during the trip.

    Due to evolving COVID-19 regulations, some services may be altered. Alternatives will be provided where feasible.

    Local health and safety measures may apply, including capacity limits and distancing requirements.

  • Applicable Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
